After a short hiatus, the legendary Surfari is back by popular demand—rebuilt with an all-new geometry for even stronger big-mountain performance. The sculpted 3D Crust-Buster nose smashes through crust and wind-skin, keeping you high and stable, while the redesigned 3D tail channels add drive, control, and unleash the hugest powder spray you've ever seen.
The updated shape features more tail length and added tail kick, making switch riding far easier for technical exits or creative freeride moments. Combined with its tapered outline and responsive flex, the Surfari delivers smooth, fast, effortless powder flow with boosted stability.
Next-gen Antiphase damping and our Zero 90 Carbon layup bring ultra-clean vibration control, sharp torsional snap, and dialed flex tuning. The result is intuitive handling with explosive freeride power. For riders chasing deep storms, big faces, and high-speed arcs: The Surfari is back—and it rides bigger, faster, and better than ever.
Tapered Directional
With a setback stance, longer nose, and narrower tail, this shape is built for freeride domination. Tapered Directional boards offer superior float, smoother turns, and added stability at speed, making them the go-to for big mountain missions.
Cruise Camber
A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Cruise Camber’s toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel, much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrink-wrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.
Bite through Crust with ease!
This subtly convex nose makes edge-to-edge transitions smoother and more predictable, especially in crusty or inconsistent snow. By keeping the contact points engaged, it maintains precise responsiveness where you need it most.
The Rise of 3D Contours in Snowboarding
Hyperjet Channels increase tail surface area to stabilize short, tapered tails—which can otherwise break loose during high-speed turns—enhancing line control in deep snow while throwing an even bigger spray.

3D Crust Buster Nose
A convex nose profile which improves tracking and fluidity in three-dimensional snow. To retain responsiveness, the contact points are not lifted.
All Terrain Tips
A smooth kick radius and fuller tip outline improves deep snow floatation without adding swing weight.
Antiphase
An advanced composite damping technology, developed in house at Amplid, which reduces unwanted vibrations for a smoother more controlled ride.
Basalt Suspension Strips
Running along the topsheet in a V-configuration from the contact points towards the bindings, these narrow bands of Basalt fabric dampen unwanted vibrations, reducing rider fatigue and keeping you edge engaged with the snow for improved control. Get the Rolls Royce feeling!
Bezièr Curves
We replace standard radii with Beziér curves in our sidecut and nose design, allowing us to precisely calculate the core’s flex curve for the most harmonious ride imaginable.
Carbon Pop Band
A narrow band of uni-directional carbon stringers that run through the centreline of a snowboard from tip-to-tail (or until the contact points to avoid interference with dampening systems) increasing pop and extending flex memory without altering torsional stiffness.
Hollow Tech
Amplid’s Hollow Tech, inspired by learnings from the Hollow Project, uses resin-proof profiled honeycomb inserts to solve weight and performance challenges. This innovation reduces weight while maintaining strength and flexibility, delivering superlight boards and ultraquiet tips and tails.
Impact Pads
In the top laminate we have added multidirectional glass pads in the binding area, to avoid dings caused by the pointy corners of binding bases. These pads enhance durability while only adding minimal weight.
Lite Core
Uber light wood varieties are cut, treated and aligned in a way only our factory knows. Its strength to weight ratio has scientists baffled.
Sintered Base
Amplid’s ultra-high density sintered base goes like shit-off-a-shovel in all snow conditions. It is extremely hard and therefore more resistant to damage
